About Colonial Village Industries

Colonial Village Industries was founded in 1971 by Larry and Wayne Omps as a Custom Log Home Builder. We are a licensed General Contractor in West Virginia and Virginia, specializing in all phases of construction from site selection and excavation to completed turn-key homes and commercial projects. In addition to Custom Log Homes, our company provides Custom Frame, Custom Sectional, and Commercial Construction. We also assist in property development and land sales. No matter the type of project, all of our experienced professionals are able and eager to help. We also offer “Green Home” alternatives which include renewable or recycled building material and provide “low” or “no” energy housing. CVI is proud of our company employees who build your home form start to finish; thereby not relying on sub-contractors who may be here today but gone tomorrow. We are the General Contractor on all of our projects, and take full responsibility and pride for all of our employees’ work. Larry and Wayne Omps have over 70 years of combined construction experience and have completed over 500 homes and projects in the Tri-State Area.
